Terms and Conditions Available Aircraft Parts LLC
Available Aircraft Parts LLC adheres to EAR (15 CFR 730-774) and ITAR (22 CFR 120-130) rules and regulations and prohibits sale of any commodity in violation of these statutes; in addition, any other governing body, domestic or international, that modifies or enforces embargoes and/or sanctions is adhered to. Violation(s) of these statutes may be subject to both criminal and administrative penalties including but not limited to Section 1760(e) (ECRA Denials) and/or Temporary Denial Orders (TDOs).
RETURN POLICY:
Once a part has been installed and it FAILS, it is at the discretion of Available Aircraft Parts LLC, if a return will be accepted. A failed report from a certified MRO or repair center will need to be provided. If a return is being accepted, AAP will send the part out to a local certified repair center to confirm its FAILED status. If the repair center deems the part to be in working condition, then the customer at their expense will pay for all recertifications that are required. If the part is found to be tampered with after the inspection, there will be NO refund, and buyer will be put on a “NO SELL” list. All working returned parts will have a restocking fee of 35%, if AAP approves the return.
STANDARD WARRANTY:
All sales are final and are presented with FAA 8130-3 or equivalent certificate. A 30-day warranty from date part is shipped or picked up from AAP facility is standard.
CORE REPAIR:
UPON RECEIPT OF CORE REPAIR CHARGES, AAP WILL DEDUCT ALL CHARGES AND SHIPPING FROM CORE DEPOSIT. THE CUSTOMER MAY ELECT TO SUPPLY A REPLACEMENT CORE IF THE ORIGINAL CORE IS FOUND TO BE BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR WITHIN AN AGREED UPON TIMELINE. ALL CORE REPAIRS ARE CHARGED A 20% MANAGEMENT FEE.
EXCHANGE TERMS:
Exchanges are based on like for like core, unless otherwise stated.
“Exchange Agreement” has been provided to buyer and accompanies these terms and conditions and DOES NOT supersede any of the terms and conditions set within this document. Customer acknowledges sole responsibility for all additional charges required to return the customer supplied core to Available Aircraft Parts LLC Inventory in the same material condition, configuration and modification status as that supplied to the customer. These core repair charges may be separately billed to the customer at Available Aircraft Parts LLC cost. If the customer supplied core is rejected, a supplemental billing will be issued for the “Core Charge” amount noted on Available Aircraft Parts LLC original invoice as well as any applicable inspection/RAI fees charged by the repair vendor.
Customer further acknowledges that all cores must be received by Available Aircraft Parts LLC by the due date noted on Available Aircraft Parts LLC original invoice. If the customer’s supplied core is not received by this due date, Available Aircraft Parts LLC reserves the right to bill the full “Core Charge” also noted on Available Aircraft Parts LLC original invoice.
EXCHANGES AND CORES:
**Domestic Cores must be returned within 15 business days of the original ship date, unless otherwise approved. International Cores must be returned within 21 business days of the original ship date, unless otherwise approved.
**All cores shall be returned with the correct removal information for traceability purposes including any certs available. The removal information and/or logbook entry must be signed by a qualified technician or certified repair station.
** Core charges are required prior to shipping for international shipments ONLY. Core deposit will be refunded once we receive and evaluate the unit/s. A 20% FEE is charged for the core repair.
** Cores must be like for like part numbers. Alternates, PMAs and different part numbers will not be accepted without prior authorization and may be subject to additional billing.
** Cores with above normal overhaul cost will be subject to additional billing up to the core charge amount.
Should the customer subsequently return the core after 15 business days, Available Aircraft Parts LLC reserves the right to reject said core without cause. If the returned core is accepted, Available Aircraft Parts LLC reserves the right to reduce the core credit amount by 10% per calendar week (or portion thereof) that the core is overdue.
In the event that an order is placed against a “RFQ” (Request for Quote) customer acknowledges acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
UNPAID INVOICES:
In the event that an invoice is NOT paid within 7 business days, Available Aircraft Parts LLC reserves the right to cancel the invoice and decline the purchase order, unless other arrangements have been made and agreed upon.
FREIGHT:
** Insurance, import/export fees and all freight charges are the responsibility of the customer, whether at time of purchase or anytime thereafter.
** All orders shipped from UAA will receive Insurance for the Full purchase price including core charges if applicable at the customer’s expense.
** Orders shipping on customer accounts – customer assumes ownership and responsibility for all units once the package/s have been handed over to the freight carrier.
